No Time for Regrets!

Hello friends and welcome back to my blog. If this is your first time visiting, I will like to say thank you and I hope you come back again. So I always tell myself I don't have time or room for regrets. This is because I had lived in regrets for a while and it is not healthy for us as human beings. I used to spend so much time thinking and feeling bad about my actions in the past, asking myself questions that I couldn't answer, blaming myself for things I had no control over. I lived and dwelled in the past, I was trapped in the past, I thought that's all life had to offer me. At one point, I felt vulnerable, my vulnerability was often used against me., everytime I tried to feel good about myself, I was reminded of my shortcomings, and right away, I was back in my slumber. I was hurting, I was lost. I knew I had to get out of that situation, but I did not know how. I realized I could not change my PAST but I could use my PAST to build my FUTURE, I also realized my PAST gave me extra set of eyes to predict  situations in the FUTURE. I immediately felt connected with reality. I became very strong and courageous. Negative comments that used to penetrate my soul no longer meant anything to me. I no longer had room for regrets. Till today I continue to remind myself because I focus in the future. I don't take anything personal, I smile over them.
